I don't know what the occassion is here, it looks like a wedding so maybe someone can fill us in. Mam should know. I am going on the notes on the file that says that this is Micks father. I have never met him but to me he looks like Mick. Send me any corrections so I can edit this if it needs it.
This is Grannie and Granda Walsh exactly as they used to be. Grannie always had that smile and Granda looked as if he was about to say something but he never did as far as I can remember. This is a great photo. There are not many photos of Mam with The Walsh Clan really.

yes your right this is my grandad connolly he was such a lovely man i was 4 or 5 when he died but i still can see him holding me hand down in our ladys when there dog bit me (it was my fault) and i think this is my mam and dads wedding..
That is Micks dad....as Graham points out and yes must have been the wedding. My memories of Mr Connolly (Patrick) was of a gentleman. Our Walsh grandparents are as I remember them too but don't remember seeing Grandad much in my lifetime
