Ann i think this was taken outside aunt Peggy's house in Lally road, and you could be right about it been your confirmation, if it had of been your Communion you both would have been wearing your veils, anyway where ever it was taken it's lovely to see. Two angels.
Nice shot and one that I have never seen before. I don't remember this house at all and I don't know where Lally Road is. This is a rare little photo. Some good ones coming to light. \
I think your right Phylis, we must have been visiting, your right about the veils as well, of course, whar threw me was I remember my confirmation coat! I have a picture of that too, but I dont know wether the world is ready for it!
Is that the one with you and Anne Macineary "I'm not sure if that's the way you spell it"anyway you know who I'm talking about, across the road from us in Windmill, do you remember they moved to Rathfarm and you and Paul went to visit and our dog Kim followed the bus, he stayed the night in the new house and Dad collected him the next day, Dad had to cycle all the way over to get him, Dad was not a happy camper that day.
oh and of course Ann publish the photo, i think it will be great for us all to see it, whats more its a lovely picture, unlike mine, there is no way i'm showing THAT, i almost got a hidding when Ma seen my photo with my coat swinging opened when she told me not to open it but i wanted to show off my dress! plus i was squinting with the sun in my eyes, them were the days.
sorry the Mc Enaney came to visit us and Paul left them to the bus stop, the dog jumped on the but and that is how he spent the night in the new house., a little touch of some timers setting in there i think.
