Isn't this photo just the picture of a day at the seaside in Dublin on those days. I can smell the sea air and feel the breeze on my cheeks. To go to the seaside in those days was a wonderful thing. Buckets and spades, sand castles and trousers rolled up. Those were great times just for the fact that they were rare and and true adventures for a child. Worthy of an essay.
Also, this is the way I remember Audrey and Colin. I think that this is the age they were when I left. This is how they stayed in my mind for years and years because it was quite a while before I got to see them again. Now look at them. Big and bold and answering back and everything.
