Mick, Phylis (what about that mini!) Me, Martin, and little Lynda in the front, dont know What i was wearing, is it a smock?, very hippie lookin with the hair, anyway taken in the back garden eons ago ( around 1970?)
I loved those smocks your wearing, we all had them back then, they were great, big pockets to hold your smokes and matches, you bought them like you would a new dress, but much cheaper.
I remember this period when I look at Phyllis and Anne and Mick and Martin. It was a hectic time with everyone growing up too fast and still children around the house. It seemed as if these two worlds were colliding. The older ones would be cranky because they needed more privacy and the younger ones would get their ears boxed because the older ones would need more privacy. I suppose it was a bad time to be either younger or older. We did have some great singsongs and some great laughs around the fire at night though. There is a whole repertoire of anecdotes and stories around this time in Windmill Park. Some stories will be passed down for many years to come.
