Ann Twyford, Phyllis, mam, Mrs Coughlin,& baby Eileen
Taken in mams back garden, Mrs Coughlin is holding baby Eileen, as you can see (this is for you Jim) backcombing was a must then, Peach lipstick, mini skirts,Pam stick, Manhattan perfume, was all the go, dance in the local hall every Sunday night, and who can forget "chasing the falla's", Its all coming back to me now, and looking back it was great.
Mammy Coughlan....as she was known....she used to come in and order us around....do this...do that....and then send us over to the Liddys for 20 Albany...or was it 20 Gold Bond...? those were the days eh!....
Mrs. Coughlain? I don't think she was on a diet. She may have had some kind of gluten free bread but she never lost and ounce. She used to tell us off colour jokes that we really didn't understand. We used to ask Mam what she meant and Ma would say she would tell us later. She never did of course. I don't think she understood them herself. I remember one. I will tell it you when you are older.
it was Nimble bread.......remembered it this morn. The mind works away once you prompt it eh!! Searching through files...compartments etc etc while we sit there watching tv.....or sleeping....then pumps out the info when it finds it. Amazing!!!!
