Ah shucks another Birthday, Just waiting on our Colin and our terry and that will be done, i had a great birthday, well i have been trying to get all my grandkids together to take a photo of them but it never seemed to happen, so my kids all got together and took the kids to the studio and had the photo done but guess what one of them is still missing, Aaron got delayed so he is not in the photo, but i love it anyways...

Illa and Yay-Yay, sorry I missed the post for the big day. I just got up. Happy birthday to you both. I agree with Jemzer about the 2nd and 3rd best looking. This Gold medal is becoming a burden around my neck. XXXXXX

twjewel said...

Brian, just send the medal back to my Ter. He was only giving you a lend of it anyway.

Colin M. Walsh said...

A couple of things..

First, Illa and Ray, don't listen to that Jimmy git. I have a constant update on family goings on from my walking talking Walsh family encyclopedia, namely Joanne.

Second,

Brian, I think you are old enough now to hear this. That is not a gold medal. It is a bottle-top from a premier dairies christmas milk bottle we gave you years ago to keep you entertained.

twjewel said...

If that's the truth, keep the medal Brian.

Eileen said...

And since we're speaking the truth.....lads, all the mirrors in the house had the same picture pasted on it of a good lookin' fella..........but look there's always us girls......

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!
This is the truth Brian...
I remember me and Colin stamping on it in the back yard to flatten it out saying...'Brian will love this.he'll never know it's a milk bottle top'....but it's the thought that counts right,

Happy Birthday to the 2 OAPs....wasn't our Yay Yay the looker in his day....I'm going to make him a Medal...

Audrey ---------- who knew that this little girl who looked at everyone from under her eyelids would become such a wit.

Jim...
That's cos' I couldn't get a word in edgeways with the reat of yews gets...lol

Eileen said...

Did u notice Jim...Audrey's play on words in her last comment..given your penchant for taking photos of trees....for those at back of class it is ...YEWS.....Audrey inherits my wit..athough she had to wait several years for my arrival to do so...nevertheless she has been known to steal my one liners mainly due to the fact that noone was listening when I said them......it is hard to be noticed amongst the big egos delusions of grandeur and theft of wit.....alas I shall retreat to my behind my bushel where my light shines brightly.......xxxx y'all....ps..its me ..number 11..:-)

I know Eileen. That Audrey one is a sleeveen. Her and Colin were planning a takeover of the family. I'm sure of it.

Colin M. Walsh said...

Very funny. What a bunch of wits. or wise-asses, depending on your politics. We are all so very lucky. I think Audrey and I are going to have to stamp out bottle tops all round...

Here, here, Eileen.. Well said. It was hard to be noticed, although we were standing in the shallow end of the gene-pool. Still, new days bring new things.

#10

Eileen said...

We may have been in the shallow end Col.....but that gave us ample opportunity to flourish in the sun......unfortunately we grew up in Ireland were the sun is a stranger...so we just got p***ed on!!! :-)ah c'est la vie

Brian said...

Yes, a great photo of Yay-Yay. Hard to believe he was actually asleep in this photo.
