By the way. That is a great hat. It would look good on me for my casual days. My Daniel Day Lewis days. He wears a hat like that. His hat is not as good as the hat Phyllis knitted for me though.

ok peoples...don't maake this about the hat......the face the face.....the hat would be nothing without the face..:-) Phil knitted it OF COURSE and it belongs to mam.....I however created THE FACE and a fine job it is!!!! :-) :-)
The hat is crocheted not knitted and your doing just fine Jim...BTW I'm sorting out your scarf.....great photo Eileen....
Yeah that is Mams hat..we had it on her the other day and she looked like 'Minnie' out of the Riordans...she wasn't happy...you can have it Jim....but you might look like Bengey...don't say you weren't warned !!!!

A balaclava....I can't wait to see it...I have a surpise for you too...I knit you some new hair and a pair of glasses..but you are not getting them till christmas.

Oh and I forgot to say ,,DON'T MAKE IT ABOUT THE BLEEDIN' HAT!!!!!.....but to wrap it up..no pun intended.....yes I still have the hat and Melissa sort of robbed Abbies one with my permission she liked it so much!!! Tune in folks for my next post...Abbie.....WITHOUT BLEEDIN HAT!!!!! :-) :-)
