I had heard about this sketch but I had no recollection of it. Now that I have seen it again I remember it. I'm not sure when I did this bit it was probably in the 60's, back then I did a lot of drawing and drew everyone who would sit still long enough. Nice to see again.
i should note that my wife's comments above are after 1/2 glass of wine. No capacity for booze at all, she married into a family of seasoned boozers.
Very good Terry......excellent portrait...can't comment on resemblence as I only knew Grandad when quite old but seems from comments you were spot on. You would be right to get it framed....the drunkard has a point ha ha!!!! Like Terry I can't manage the booze at all.....we're too tired!!!!!
