Family Jewels

These photos were among ones that Dor sent me this afternoon. I will let her explain where she got them and anything relating to them that might be of interest to us all. I think they are marvelous, all the more so because they have not been seen before to my knowledge. There are a few more to be done. I will post them as soon as they are done.

Wonderful photos, and as you said Jim never seen by us before, i think that these were taken in Sandymount beach, Dad took the kids out for the day and I'm sure there are the photos.
The kids are so gorgeous they really haven't changed much, still gorgeous!

seems like yesterday.

How happy and carefree we were. All so close and such great pals. The same is true to this day, I guess forty years on. Hard to believe.

The skirt in the ninni thing, looks like a Da special. I well remember the Ganzi tucked in and stretched down to the ankles, and the pants pulled up to the armpits. A neckie and a weggie all at the same time.

Great photos. Great photos.

They were here at Rita's house. Not sure if they were among my mother's things. Evelyn may have taken them. I'll ask her tomorrow and let you know. Therese thinks she may have taken the ones in Westport. They really are priceless and do bring back memories. I think we all tucked our skirts into our knickers at some time or other.
