Our Barney - An oldie but a goodie ...

I felt that my first post should be of my baby ... so this is Barney, he's a 15 year terrier mix (I think the oldest pet in the family? but I'm open for correction on that!)....he's going a bit mad, is half blind - note the cataracts which i refused to photoshop as they're part of his character - but still acts like a puppy and is a much loved family pet for us Watt's!! So here he is ... and isn't he the best looking pet in the family? but I'm slightly biased ....
Top photo is an add on of Barney in color. Nice looking dog.

Im biased as well, Lorraine, and I agree he is looking very handsome! Not bad for an old codger!

Yes, he looks great and it is great to see how much all the members of the family love their animals we should do a montage of all the pets and put their photos beside their owners. They say that in the end we resemble our animals in a way.
I've noticed that dudley gets getting better looking as the years go by.

Well Lorainne...to correct you on one point.....your dad is the oldest pet in your family but you are right in saying Barney is the best looking....ha ha ha ha ha....my sense of humour almost matches Jim's (see his comment!!!)...but all joking aside welcome Barney the elder pet to our blog!!

eileen, you are gas, as is Jim, its true that animals and their owners grow to look like each other, unfortunate for the animals perhaps.. and yes, Martin IS the oldest pet, soon to be even older!!!

thanks for all the great comments everyone... and thanks to jim for adding the colour pic. he's got to 15yrs (and still going!!!) cause he's spoiled rotten ... I also think his addiction to tea has done him good. we also recommend Pedigree Joint Care!!!

Has anyone seen Barney's cataract???? It has mysteriously disappeared.....but it is an integral part of the Barney we know and love well........
