This is all in fun of course and the whole family is very good at taking a joke. I think it's a result of us being such a large and extended family. On the serious side though: the view into Colin's work day and environment helped us to get to know him better and get an idea of what he does. I would love to see some more of these types of things both work wise and personal. I bet everyone would love to see how Terry makes his jewelery. I know I was fascinated by the gold and the diamonds and the casual way he treats what most of us find very exotic. What about Graham, he goes all over Ireland. What does he drive? Where does he go? Does he take photos of the places he goes. What about Phil. He has some great before and after shots of his work. Does Dor work with a green visor in the back room translating from English to German and vice versa? Why not do a photo journalism series of your day and post it or vote for someone you would like to see.
I have only pulled a few names out of thin air but I think it would be great to see how we spend our days.
My first vote would be Mam holding court in the new kitchen, Paul could do the photos and then I would like to see Terr's workshop in action but there are so many more.
I will gladly turn the photos into slide shows on Flickr and maybe do the first one myself. Any ideas?
The nice thing is that you get to choose the photos yourself so you can pick only the good ones.

Our Col
http://www.flickr.com/photos/steveschultz/sets/72157613615879514/show/
This is a very interesting little slide show of Colin doing his thing in his shop. I wish more people would do this kind of thing as we are always fascinated by how the other spends their days both personally and professionaly. So, sign up a family member and have them do a small documentary on you to post. As for me, well, I would love to see Mam holding court in 161.
Let's see your workspace and what you do all day.
The only thing I would change about this presentation is to find out where Colin's barber lives, drag him out of his house at midnight, put him up against a wall and shoot him. Hee Hee!

Happy Anniversary Mam and Dad

It takes two special people,
To make a loving pair.
There’s a joy just being around you both,
A feeling we love to share.
So best anniversary wishes to you,
Bringing years of joy and fun.
May each year keep getting better,
we hope the good times have just begun.
38 years on....
Love from all your children and grandchildren.

Our Barney - An oldie but a goodie ...

I felt that my first post should be of my baby ... so this is Barney, he's a 15 year terrier mix (I think the oldest pet in the family? but I'm open for correction on that!)....he's going a bit mad, is half blind - note the cataracts which i refused to photoshop as they're part of his character - but still acts like a puppy and is a much loved family pet for us Watt's!! So here he is ... and isn't he the best looking pet in the family? but I'm slightly biased ....
Top photo is an add on of Barney in color. Nice looking dog.

St Patricks Day
Therese mentioned that there are no St. Patricks day photos on the blog so she sent a couple.
The bottom one is Levi with his Uncle Padraic {her second son} before they walked in the parade. Padraic grew his beard for charity since Christmas and had it shaved after the parade.
Top one is Thereses 5 children after Padraic was shaved, they are from left Padraic, Alfie, Rita, Ailish and Cormac
