What a shot ! Good work Joanne, this is a really nice shot. It should be framed. She should also give it pride of place on FB. Let's send it in to National Geographic while we are at it. I've seen just as good there .
Here is the detail on that gorgeous aran waistcoat. It is still pure white. Anyone remember knitting this. No messin' please as in " I knit that sweater !" Also, what are the names of the stitches on this piece ?
Of course Brian hasn't seen this photo. He didn't know Anne at the time. She and I went on a date to the renowned Star Cinema in Crumlin. This was taken in the champagne bar there. I had bought Anne a glass of Dom Perignon. I knew what it was because I had been to see Goldfinger the week before and memorised Sean Connery's line from that film. We had a great time. This is the original photo that I cropped for the birthday post. I was wearing my green velvet suit which I later gave to Brian. Happy memories !
A patricarch in Russia was photographed wearing a $3o,ooo Breguet Watch. This was a big scandal so they photoshopped the watch out of the photo. Unfortunately they forgot to photoshop out the reflection of the watch on the table. In the third photo ( from top down ) they photoshopped the patriach out and leave just the watch. Very funny.
