That is a great shot but I don't think that is John Gielgud.. It looks more like Michael Wilding.
Great photo, the pub O'Maras on the left was better known as the Bachelors inn,
If this photo was taken in 1956 it is sir john Gielgud it was a production of nude with a violin on at the Olympia which opened in Dublin before going on to the globe in the west end of London... Michael Wilding took over the role in London in 1957 having returned from filming Zarak in Morocco in the same year he and Liz Taylor divorced.
No , sorry, I am sure that this is Michael Wilding.
