Jamie likes to eat, and he's been doing a lot of cooking lately and sending us the pictures. I might start posting some of them. I wonder who he takes after?
I will be taking a lot of these videos down ( except the ones of me of course ) in a few days. They are taking up a lot of space on the blog. As soon as I think everyone has had time to see them I will remove them but you can put them in your favorites on youtube if you want to see them again. Don't let this deter you from posting videos but I will remove them after a certain amount of time.
This was a dressage lesson that I took almost every Sunday when I was in Seattle. Kim, with her husband Dietrich, were two of the premiere dressage riders in the area and I was very lucky to have gotten into the barn and eventually become very good friends with both of them. This was a typical lesson on Witch who was a very difficult horse but knew how to move of you knew what you were doing. In that way she taught novice readers to learn quickly or she wouldn't move. This was a particularly good day and by this time I already had her number and was able to make her , more or less, do what I wanted her to do. This little video will not interest you if you don't like horses or have a little knowledge of riding.
I don't remember posting these before. I think they were probably taken in O'Connell Steet and around 1962 or so. Terry was working in the Shelbourne Hotel as a page boy and he always looked very smart and dapper.
Unfortunately the response to the Christmas photo project was so low that it is not worthwhile doing. Thank you to those who took the trouble of sending in some photos and for the thought. Too bad, the last post was really nice but there you are. I think it is nice to share these special times with other and in the end everyone is glad to see them. Oh well !
