Great song. I really like the way Bochelli restrains his voice and doesn't fall into and full voiced operatic mode. He keeps the spirit of the song. They sing well together. This is an old Tony Bennet favorite. He did it beautifully in Carnegie Hall in 1963.
Tony Bennet can't sing. Period.
Oh really ?
i just love the way he cant sing this
Funny ! Our Brendan is coming out of his shell on the blog . Causing quite a bit of chatter and controversy with his off beat comments. Good job. Brian hasn't bested you yet. He must be bullin'.
I'm just surprised Brendan managed to spell a full sentence.Har Har
not as surprised as i am that a master of the art of music such as yourself can be critical of others in the same field .... without personal taste we would have no variation ...and without variation ...the world would be a very boring place indeed...p.s..... spell-check is fantastic...someday they might invent....music check... and we can all have perfect taste
Now you two. Don't make me come up them stairs.
Tony Bennett is a great singer.
I agree 100% with Brian. Always knew he was just joking beforehand.
A little know fact is that this is a piece by the russian composer Borodin. It was adapted for the film Kismet. Kismet loosely means fate.
