actually the name of the pub was the jolly gardener...and your right mam would call me on Sunday night at 7.00pm and i would be waiting with wistful anticipation....and one night as i was waiting..the phone rang...it was mum...but my boss answered the phone ..and mam said ...hello...is this the galloping chickens...my boss promptly said no....and then she hung up......i said ...who was that ......he said...some Irish lady looking for chickens....after a good laugh....i called her back....

The pubs name was the Galloping Chicken.
I remember Brendan going off to London to work. We would go to call him on the phone from Desi's house. A complicated process back then.
