The weather is subtly changing. The evenings are milder and dusk is earlier than it was. The setting sun doesn't have quite the fire that it had a month ago. It's more orange now.

Same here Jim, the leaves are falling off the trees now and you can feel the chill in the air....sad to see all the flowers dying off now.
Reminds me of Maine. Beautiful.
Looks lovely and cool. It is still very much Summer here, we are heading into what is our eight heatwave i think. Days are getting shorter, and the nights are a cooler.. Other than that... HOT.
Even though I always say summer is my favorite season, as I get older, (notice I didn't say more mature.... haha) I love fall just as much.
Autumn is really a special season. It is always melancholy and marks a true passage of time. The changes in the surroundings are more pronounced than spring (to me)and it is a reminder that another chapter has closed. It brings a reality to the fading days of summer. I am always glad to see it.
