I'd say this was taken on our trip to Westport. I was five and Lynda was three. I think that may be her to my left..don't know who little guy is probably a cousin. This is th trip that turned me off drinking milk for quite some time...'The milking story'
I DO....I DO....I also remember being left at home.... These are great pics of the kids...Eileen and Lynda were just the cutest lil' ones....who is the baby in the seat with Lynda...one of Evelyns children????....really gorgeous pics.
I am serious about this house in westport deal... Perhaps I should make a separate post for it and see who can make it out there at what times. I will bring the pots and pans, and Jim.....
It's a great idea, i just love the west of Ireland rain n all......the scenery is fab, every time I've been there i loved it, i love seeing my cousins n catching up on things and mam would love it, If you are having trouble with moving Jim we will all go over to the states blindfold and gag him knock him out and when he wakes up he will be in Ireland......
It would seem so, Still in all my travels there no nicer place than on a sunny day in Ireland. When I think of the smells of summer and catching bees..... robbing orchards... and playing in the imps....

The little guy is Brian O'Reilly Evelyn's son . never saw this one before
There's a few more of them Therese. I have never met these children. Grown ups now.
Yes Jim, Grainne Brian and Kevin in the other picture, all parents themselves now.Must have been 1970 judging by Kevins age.
That would be right Therese...I was five in these pics and was born in 1965.....so perfect!
Westport!!!! looks like Provance, wonderful pictures.
I love these photos. It seems like all our childhoods wrapped up in a few snaps.
some more great pics I never seen before....
Declan has at last appeared even if he does have his foot in a bowl
these are great photos, The girls were so adorable. Eileen, do you remember what you had in your hand?
I remember you all going off on the great vacation to westport, and coming back with the book "the little red hen"... does anyone remember that.

You and me both Audrey... we were left behind. I did like the book though.
This series of photos gave me an Idea... I would like to rent a house in Westport big enough for all of us, and vacation down there next Summer.
What do you think.
you could always get two houses side by side. The baby with Lynda is Kevin, they are great pictures we hadn't seen them before.
yes lets do the houses thing....I'll throw in 5 euro to start it!!!!
Yes Me and Ann begged mam to leave Audrey and Colin behind so we could mind them.......little dotes.
love the photos.
Hmmmm.... We Loved staying at home with you both.

I will ask Joanne to look int it for us. She is wiz with such things.
Kids all look like little dolls in these photos, and the sun was always shining in the old photos, was'nt it....
