Frank Sinatra was in his 70's when this was done. This is not an easy song to sing and he has missed the high ' stay' and 'smart'even when he was a young man. Here he gives it a poignancy I had not heard before, especially at the end. His voice has a slight rasp to it but it is like sandpaper rubbing on silk. For Sinatraphiles it is well worth a 'close your eyes' listen. For everyone else..... you don't know what you're missing.
