A wonderful drive in the Landrover out to the farmlands of this area. Magical green rolling hills, moss laden trees, emerald green grass as far as the eye can see, the hum and song of rushing rivers. The rain soaked road unfolding into the distance. Heaven!

...have to tell about the home made beam amd bacon soup that JP had brought in his thermos. We enjoyed it as we sat and watched the river there. The soup had stayed perfectly hot, and was out-of-this-world delicious! Topped off a nice afternoon, that's for sure.

That is BEAN, NOT BEAM in James' soup. As far as I know, he is not flavoring his soups with a stick of beam. Reading glasses, please.
You can't believe the soups that he has made. I have never tasted such!! He brings me a cup once in a while, and the flavor is out of this world.
