Ah Sandymount.... it was Paradise to us back in the day even if we did have to walk about four miles just to get our feet wet,Soggy tomato sandwiches, black banana sandwiches and a flask of tea if you were lucky, how things have changed. Haha..Great photos everyone having a great time, Sun Sand & sunglasses what more could you ask for. xx
And then after walking four miles it was up to your ankles. Another half mile and it was up to your knees and then another few steps and it was down to your ankles again. Never could understand that. I can still smell the sea as we got closer and closer to Sandymount in the bus.
