I got these photos in an email from Anne. This is the Dublin I remember and I think these photos capture the spirit of the city in those days. This was 48 years ago after all. I especially liked the shots where it is just after a rainfall and the streets are a little glossy. I also like the ones of the bikes in the streets. I was one of those bikers.

I thought the buses and the bikes and the VW vans look great...Did you notice the 50b bus? I got these from a friend in work..great to have..
I did notice the 50B bus to college green. I looked to see if the Da was running after it.

Dublin was a lot like that in mytime too. These was a year before I was born. I dont think things changed all that much until the mid 70's.
Looks like a very different place now..
This was four years before I left so I would have been working in either Clerys or The Gresham.
Terry would have been in the Shelbourne. I used to either take the bus or ride the bike into work.
