I like this picture myself. I remember the period when it was taken. Terry used to draw a lot in those days . He was very good. This was in my last flat in London before I moved to Germany. It was really an attic, but I liked it. I was working at some hotel in London and Terry was 'Le Sommelier' in the Carlton Club. This was the conservative party club and Terry would tall us all about MacMillan, Heath, Lord Hume and all the prime ministers he served. He also told us about sitting in Benjamin Disrali's chair.
I was content to read his biography at the time but Terry: he was sitting in his chair. He certainly was the bees knees in those days.
