Constitution Halts Sheriff

This is an amazing piece of work and well worth watching if you have the time. I felt sorry for the poor man just trying to do his job but in the end I wish more people would stand up to so called authority in this fashion. I wish I had this man's ability to argue in a lot of situations that I have been in myself.
How is it that we always think of what we should have said a few hours later. Education is a great thing.

Africa, Get Ready, 'Cause Here We Come!

Joanne and Pat have decided to head off to South Africa for 10 days. They were discussing havingto go out and buy clothes for the Safari they are going on, and I am sure this how they see themselves on the Savana.

JP And Paddy Edge On O'Connell Street .

This must have been taken around 1960. Paddy Edge worked in the Gresham with me as did the third person here. I will always remember him for introducing me to Dave Bruebeck. He was one of the few who had a record player and we spent afternoons listening to ' Time further out'.

Terry In The Sixties

Terry turned up on my doorstep in London with a big afgahn coat and a rucksack. He stayed a few days and he left. This is him in my driveway in Finsbury Park on his way home to Ireland.

James Joyce And Sylvia Beach In Paris

Jimmy Joyce
This was the famous Shakespeare and Co. bookshop in Paris where James Joyce used to hang out with the literati of the day; It is a mecca for Joyce lovers and I think it is still open.
I visited it when I lived in Paris and it was a thrill to be there.

Last Nights Dinner

This was last nights dinner. Moroccan Chicken. A recipe I got from Jim, as well as a lot of help making it. Very interesting to make, much different from our normal fare. Well worth the trouble, anyone who cooks should give it a go.
