Looks like a lot of fun was had by all. Thank you to Faith and her family for having my family with you. Pictures of Abbie, Max, Nick, Oona, Sean and Jamie.
Collard green with tomatoes, onion, and italian seasoning + fat free refried beans + sliced avocado, and whole wheat tortilla = Phil's yummy vegetarian burrito
Every girlfriend that I have ever brought home has fallen in love with our Paul. Eva, 30 years later still talks about Paulo is if he was her long lost love. Cathy from France absolutely adored Paul. She was swept off her feet. Cathy from Wexford is still in love with Paul. The man is a babe magnet ! You put Paul into a room of wonderful girls and they sit and chat with him as if they had know him all their lives and are ready to divulge their most secret of secrets. We just sit and watch in amazement. I just couln't get over Eva.... she just adored him and still does.
When Woody Allen was asked what he would like to come back as he said " Warren Beatty's fingertips". How would he feel about Paul?
The question to all you girls is .......... how does he do it. He is quiet and unassuming........ what is his secret ? Teach us !
This photo was taken at Joanne and Colin's house this past September. I think it's a great picture of Sean and also of Oona and Leo. Happy Birthday Sean, 11/26/11
They need to take some lessons from the english police. David Cameron wanted to bring the american police to Europe to teach the English police crowd control. I don't think so.
This shot was taken in 1950 on the way home from a dinner and dance at the Metropole Ballroom . Granny Walsh was baby sitting us for the evening. They would have been married about four years at this time.
This is Brendan's very talented daughter Carolyn. She's been in Switzerland and hadn't played the piano for a year but she made short work of this piece.
Philadelphia's own Smokin' Joe. Lived here in Philly and was regular personality around town. Graham met him when he was here. He is lying in State at the stadium in Philadelphia for the next two days. Great Boxer.
Good post Colin.
Addendum:
Smokin' Joe as they called him was one of the bravest and most tenacious boxers in recent memory. He had the stamina to go so many rounds with Ali and he never gave up. He was a fighter in every sense of the word.
If you want to watch and rewatch these great fights I recommend this DVD. I watch it regularly and as a matter of fact I think I will watch the Frasier/Ali fight tonight. Great sportsmen and great boxers; both of them.
A poll was taken in Italy recently for Italian women. The question was: Would you like to sleep with Berlusconi ? 3o % of the women polled said yes they would love to. 70 % said " What, again ? ! "
