Muldoon lived alone in the Irish countryside with only a pet dog for company.


One day the dog died, and Muldoon went to the parish priest and asked, 'Father, my dog is dead. Could ya' be saying' a mass for the poor creature?'

Father Patrick replied, 'I'm afraid not; we cannot have services for an animal in the church. But there are some Baptists down the lane, and there's no tellin' What they believe. Maybe they'll do something for it.'

Muldoon said, 'I'll go right away Father. Do ya' think $5,000 is enough to donate to them for the service?'

Father Patrick exclaimed, 'Sweet Mary, Mother of Jesus! Why didn't ya tell me the dog was Catholic?

Where Did The Time Go

Back by popular demand. A few more photos of JP in the woods taking a few snaps resulting in that little forest scene that I posted recently. This here is one of my favorite places in Roseburg. It is a little park that leads back among a trail of trees to a river and beyond. It makes for a great hike on a warm summers evening. This was one of those evenings and the coolness of the tree cover was great.

JP Making His Communion

I thought I had posted this on the blog but I couldn't find it. I can't remember what year this was. Must have been around '55 or so. I was talking to Mam about this the other day and I am sure she will remember all the details. I didn't fix this photo because I thought it looked more realistic and representative of the period in it's tattered condition. Just like myself.
Note the big toe sticking out and the writing. I think I was going through my autographing practice stage at this time.
I looked better a few days later when I took my girlfriend to the DEBS.

Sarah Palin Got Pranked

This is a cruel but very funny phony call from President Sarkozy to then VP  candidate Sarah Palin. When he refers to his special advisor Johnny Holliday he is referring to the french version of Elvis Presley. This is really funny but as I said very cruel. I am only surprised that she didn't catch on sooner.

Dad's Birthday Today

I like this photo of him. It shows how relaxed , easy going and playful he was in his later years. Unfortunately I was not there to bear witness but I enjoy seeing him. I don't know how old he would be. I think around 86.
